I want to create a pie chart that displays individual words from one column
Newb

I have a spreadsheet that consists of responses about product feature requests. One column is responses. This column is random words with no format, so they could be anything.

I want to make a pie chart that shows how much each individual word shows up. So, for example, if the word "BMP" shows up a large number of times it will take a big slice in the chart.

I assume I have to enter specific data into Chart Editor>Start>Data (Select Rangers) field but I don't know where to find the options, or if it needs to be a longer formula. I thought it would just be like - words in column D, but it's not quite that simple.

Looked for a LONG time for an answer but haven't found one.

Thanks!
