highlighting largest values by row with conditional formatting array
hello,
I am new to this so pardon my lack of proper language usage.

I am comparing prices from two suppliers. There are going to be several hundred items compared.  I figured out how to highlight which supplier is more expensive with
=$1:$1=max($1:$1) - by row in conditional formatting.

I don't want to have to re write this each time I enter a new item by row.  I figured out how to use an =ARRAYFORMULA for simple to show the difference between the high and low values:
=ARRAYFORMULA(IF(B2:B10>C2:C10, B2:B10-C2:10, C2:C10-B2:B10)) - for now I am only using 10 items will live with editing the number of row as I go, but Id love to be able to do this for my conditional formatting as well.

Thanks in advance for your help

ello,
Thanks for your quick response. While I understand what you are suggesting, I am unsure how to go about it.  Can you go through this with me?
Here is a line for the sheet in progress

Thanks
Rob
